MEGAMUTTMATES

MEGAMUTTMATES

I was Just wondering

Where will you photograph my pet?

Anywhere a pet can be comfortable. I am studio based in the Scottish Borders where a more controlled photograph can be taken in the studio, but with many amazing locations to photograph your dog locally the options are endless. I will also travel to your home, or to a park, beach, stables, wherever your dog / pet is happiest. What is most important is that your pet is ready to have a good time. Travelling in the TD postcode and within 35 miles of Lauder is included in all the options, traveling outwith this area may incur a surcharge.

What makes Megamuttsmates special?

In one word....... Fun and my ability to connect with your pet. Before I begin I spend some time just getting to know your pet as best as possible. From then on I try to catch the fun of your pet in a big play session. You are always welcome to join in on the fun.

What if I want me, my family, my other pet(s), or a marching band in the pictures?

No problem .The first two pets are included and there is a £45.00 charge for each additional pet. You are also welcome and encouraged to sit in on a few of the pictures at no extra charge. You should allow a bit more time depending on how many pets are in the session.

Will you photograph my horse?

I’d love the opportunity! A horse session is essentially the same as any other pet photography session, but I will meet you where you board your horse (or any location of your choice) and I will ask you to go about your normal routine with them – from brushing them to giving them carrots, to saddling them up and riding, etc… I might direct you every now and then to keep you in the best lighting. I will guide/pose you once in a while, but for the most part I will be like a fly on the wall. I strictly use all natural sunlight when photographing horses so as to not spook them.

Can we get our photos on disc?

Yes........ see additional information.

What if my pet won't behave?

I hear this all the time. But really your pet is more cooperative than you think. We know a few tricks to get your pet to relax and have fun, plus we have a stack of patience and a small bag of treats. We still have not found a pet that we can't photograph. That is the beauty of lifestyle photography I just have to wait for them to be themselves and be there to take the photo.

How long is a normal session?

Usually an hour and a half or until I am sure I have the photos I want. It really depends on the dog and their mood. We never rush you. We take plenty of breaks for water, snuggling, playing and sniffing. Often you can see your pictures within a day, but takes about a week before the prints are ready to order, which we can rush for special occasions.

How should I prepare my pet for the session?

Grab that brush and give the pooch a good grooming ! Or not - shaggy dogs can be very cute.

What happens if it is raining for our location session date

I will be in touch several days before your session to confirm the date, time and location.  If it looks like the weather might be iffy we can email or chat and decide if it is best to play it by ear or just reschedule. It’s always easy to reschedule if need be.
