love to create dynamic images of events and people but my first
love is dogs.  It seemed like a natural progression to combine the
two things I love the most, dogs and photography.

My first dog was a toy French poodle named Pierre. The current
"boss of me" is a pug named Lola. My dogs have taught me many important life lessons about patience, loyalty, strength and unconditional love.

I would say that dogs are almost perfect creatures but for their short time with us.
My brother's best friend when I was very young was a Black Lab named Blackie.
(Ok- so we weren't clever with names!)  There aren't any photos of Blackie that exist today. No one thought to take any.

A lot of people may not consider dog photographers "serious" photographers,
however, I take my role as a documentarian very seriously.
Photographs are powerful keepers of our past. They hold the memories
of who we were, where we came from and who we loved.
It would be my honor to help you preserve an important part of
your family's history.

Keep your Best Friend with you always.

Grooming:  It's a great idea to bring your pal for a
groom so they look their best in the photos.  It's
better to groom a couple days before the photo session
not on the day of the session itself.  Just think of how
you feel when your schedule is too full. Stressed!

Exercise:  Taking your dog out for an extra walk
or run prior to the session will help burn off some
nervous energy.  Plus- an empty doggie bladder
         is a happy doggie bladder!

What to Bring:  We make sure the studio is well
appointed with water, snacks and toys that squeak.
If your dog has a favorite treat or toy, feel free to bring
it along.  Many people like to have their dog photographed
with their favorite toy or blankie.  It's up to you!
Does a particular song make your dog smile? Dance? Sing?
Bring your ipod or a CD and we'll all rock out together!
